The news has revealed the Democratic Party of Kosovo Chairman Memli Krasniqi.
Through this statement, the Democratic Party of Kosovo has said that over the past four years, Kosovo has had a government that defines stagnation, lost opportunities and failure to meet important reforms.
The PDK, like Kosovo citizens, believes Kosovo can best.
“With candidate, programme and best team candidates for deputies, The PDK engages in victory on February 9th. The PDK remains united in its mission to build a more developed, safer and better”, the Kosovo Democratic Party Declaration says.
Read the complete Declaration:
The Democratic Party of Kosovo, through this Political Declaration, reconfirms its steadfast devotion to the principles of democracy, justice, security, economic development and good governance. Based on recent developments in the country, the Steering Council of the Democratic Party of Kosovo approves the following statement:
1. Concerns for The Hague: The PDK expresses its concerns over developments in The Hague Specialised Chambers. We seek justice and impartiality towards judicial procedures, and an approach with European standards, which guarantees the fundamental rights of each individual. Any attempt to give another way to the truth of the liberation war of our people risks undermining not only the legitimacy of justice but also violating the heritage of the sacred sacrifice for freedom.
2. Justice for Kosovo: The PDK has carefully followed recent developments in the country. We request full investigation, responsibility and condemnation of criminals who carried out the terrorist attack on critical infrastructure and institutions in Kosovo. The PDK calls on the international community to react decisively against Serbia's hostile actions towards Kosovo and at the expense of regional stability.
3. National Security and Integration: For the Democratic Party of Kosovo, strengthening Kosovo's national security remains a priority. The PDK emphasises the need to defend state sovereignty and strengthen co-operation with our strategic allies, particularly the United States of America and EU countries. In addition to providing security for the country and citizens, Kosovo must intensify co-ordination with its allies on the path to Euro-Atlantic integration. This is Kosovo's only direction and political goal.
4. Kosovo can best: Over the past four years, Kosovo has had a government that defines stagnation, lost opportunities and failure to meet important reforms. The lack of progress in economic development, health, education, diplomacy and other areas has left our citizens frustrated and our country without fulfilling full potential. Just like the citizens of Kosovo, we believe Kosovo can best. With visionary leadership, professional governance and a clear development programme, Kosovo can successfully meet today's challenges and begin building a better future for all its citizens. This is mission PDK.
5. Election Mobilisation for victory: The PDK is fully mobilised for the February 9th general elections. The Democratic Party of Kosovo is encouraged by the great support of citizens, both inside and abroad, for our candidate for prime minister, Bedri Hamza. With the candidate, programme and best team of candidates for deputies, The PDK engages in victory on February 9th. The PDK remains united in its mission to build a more developed, safer and better Kosovo.
