The majority of political parties have not yet finalised lists for candidates for deputies until the deadline for sending these lists is also required for the determitation of political subjects to the Central Election Commission ends on December 11th. Besides the LDK, which has finalised the list, other parties say they are in preparation.
In addition to the LDK, which has already finalised and made public the list of candidates for MPs for the February 9th elections, other parties are still under way.
In the Vetevendosje Movement, they say the candidacy has already been delivered to VV centres and will then be reviewed and voted into the Party Council.
“The VV has initiated candidate procedures aimed at becoming MPs... so far, candidates have surrendered to VV centres that will then be reviewed and voted”, said Arbene Kryeziu from Vetevendosje.
Neither has the AAK PDK finalised the list with the names of candidates for MPs.
In the PDK, they say the list will be closed within the legal deadline.
“The PDK is working intensively to compile and close the election list. In the set legal term we will have the list, the list will have innovation... The PDK is going to this election to win the” elections, said Rtv21 Elmi Recica Nag PDK.
Even in the AAK, they say they are in the process of the issue.
The “Preparates are continuing the lists are being prepared is the technical process under construction that we have had the most powerful list.. ”, said Besnik Tahiri-head of the AAK parliamentary group.
In the CEC, meanwhile, they say the deadline for handing over candidate lists for MPs, as well as demands for the certificate of political parties expires on December 11th at 4:00.
“The CEC is awaiting political subjects to apply for certificates and to submit lists with candidates for MPs... so far we have not accepted any requests”, Elesi said.
Political parties have long launched the election campaign before the campaign officially begins on January 11th.
