Kosovo President Vjosa Osmani has hosted the meeting the European Parliament MP and newly appointed rapporteur for Kosovo, Riho Terras, who has congratulated him on his appointment, displaying readiness for deepening co-operation for advancing Kosovo's European integration.
During the meeting, Osmani has reconfirmed Kosovo's steadfast dedication to EU integration, noting visible progress in meeting membership criteria and approaching European standards. The president underlined Kosovo's efforts for membership in the European Union as a key goal for the country's future. President Osmani also stressed Kosovo's commitment to human rights, rule of law and democracy, presenting tangible achievements”.
As reported in the media communiqué, Osmani has called for” co-operation and support from international partners for the investigation of the attack, confirming the commitment to professional investigation of the case by Kosovo institutions”.

She stressed that this attack has targeted critical infrastructure in the country, aiming to cause major damage that would directly affect citizens' lives. In this direction, she spoke of the key importance of co-operation with the aim of further combating Serbian criminal gangs that are supported, trained and paid by the Serbian state, as well as communication and co-ordination with the aim of preventing similar attacks in the future.
Among other things, at the meeting, President Osmani stressed that it is important for the international community to take a unique stand against Serbia's destabilising actions, including the act of September 2023 aggression and the recent terrorist attack on Kosovo's vital infrastructure.
At the meeting, the president also stressed that it is time for the EU's unfair measures towards Kosovo to eventually depart, because according to her, in addition to the unfair, these measures are directly damaging Kosovo citizens -- indiscriminately” -- the communique concludes.
