President Vjosa Osmani has introduced the new European Council President Antonio Costa, testimony to Serbia's ties with the terrorist attack on the Iber-Lepenci channel in Zubin-Potok.
As it becomes known in a Kosovo Presidency media communiqué, Osman and Costa have met in Brussels on the eve of the EU-Western Balkans Summit. According to Osmani, the release of terrorist Milan Radociq in Serbia is evidence that the Serbian state is not ready for responsibility and accountability for acts of aggression against Kosovo.
She presented President Costa's testimony on Serbia's ties to this attack as well as the September attack last year, which was an act of aggression against Kosovo. She added that the chief terrorist who had implemented Belgrade's official orders for attacks on Kosovo, so Radojqic, is still at large, and that testifies to Serbia's lack of readiness for responsibility and accountability for acts of aggression against Kosovo”, the presidency's announcement said.
Osmani has said that Kosovo is ready to co-operate with the internationals for investigating the terrorist act. He has thanked partners for solidarity and assistance, saying that the important thing is to focus also on preventing new attacks.
The president has also called for lifting measures on Kosovo.
On November 29th evening, Iber-Lepenci's water canal was detonated in the village of Zubin-Potok. The canal, which supplies a considerable portion of the water cities, also sends water to cool KEK thermoelectrics.
The attack was named terrorist by Kosovo authorities and international authorities.
Several in the north have been arrested while arsenals, uniforms, and explosives have also been confiscated.
