Through several Facebook posts, Osman said he met with Republican senators: Ted Cruz, Joni Ernst and Thom Tillis, as well as congressers, Gary Palmer, Pete Sessions and Mike Lawler.
“Regular co-operation and communication are key for proper action at the right time. Kosovo and the United States, have ample room and opportunity for opening new co-operation chapters, so this is also one of the main goals on the road before”, Osman said after the end of one of the meetings.
She has said she has also discussed co-operation in the field of security, with the aim of preventing the efforts of harmful actors for more “kaos and instability”.
Osman's visit to the US is under way weeks before the inauguration of US President-elect Donald Trump.
Erin Elizabeth McKee, assistant administrator at the Bureau for Europe and Eurasia in UAID, told Radio Free Europe weeks ago that US relations with Kosovo have not wavered during various administrations, and that the commitment of the American people to the people of Kosovo is convinced that they will continue.
The US has allocated over $2 billion to Kosovo since 1998, and its support has been crucial, including the road to independence.
Kosovo state leaders often repeat that America is Kosovo's most important partner and that its support is vital.
However, in some cases, in recent years, Washington's reports with the Government of Kosovo have strained, although government officials have repeatedly reiterated that they are co-ordinated and have close co-operation with the US.
