Obadiah: Republic of Kosovo today lies at a historic crossroads

Dear LDK General Council members,
Dear Head of Labour,
Honored media, and through you, honored citizens of Kosovo,
Ladies and gentlemen,

Let me first congratulate the work of this Council, the work that comes at a moment as important to our party destiny as necessary to the fate of the Republic.

This Council, meets today to vote and approve branch nominations -- of 33 branches of the Democratic League of Kosovo -- respectively, for candidates on the list of change; the winning list of the upcoming February 9th parliamentary elections.

And this vote of yours today will bring our citizens, voters and citizens of the Republic, the most corporate, professional and unitary list Kosovo has today. It itself contains not only proposals stemming from our own base, but maintains and future decision-makers of the next four years, all institutional and political life in the country.

It contains individuals with personal integrity, experienced politicians, it contains young men and women who start their own political journey, but above all, it contains each of us's dream of changing, making our Republic a place of survival, well-being, and traveling identities towards the Euro-Atlantic community.

So as such, this present moment is special. So as such, this present moment is vital to the size of this room and the hall.

Ladies and gentlemen,

We are meeting at a time when our Republic is in need of responsible leadership and leadership; above all, for wide nationwide unity.
The Republic of Kosovo today is located at a historic crossroads. Its identities, from democracy and free expression, from the Euro-Atlantic dream to keeping people between us, have been placed on the dice of irresponsible political fates.

In this Republic of Their Projections, the Porganda is a goal of itself, as division, division, and great polarization, are a very common conclusion, which causes haters to enjoy eagerly.

I'll never know what freedom this situation brings to you, but I have their very simple purpose. The more propaganda, the more slander, the more division, the more hatred, the more useful towards producing social polarization, that does not produce results, nor does it bring hope. So today our country has become a grim place. So today our national division has reached unimaginable historical levels. And because we're so divided, we're stuck in a dead end, where shadows of the past obscure the future we're not making. Such a broken society and such hatred must first heal itself.

Because in our Republic, there is no room for a state camera that uses intelligence to convey journalists. In our Republic, there is no room for institutional and parapolitical media attacks, no room for media closures, no room for life- threatening attacks on journalists and free rapporteurs of a free society. Political consciousness sometimes speaks too much, but in us it speaks clearly, when a power requires that the news be taken only from them, at that moment, right then, we have to understand that before we have a political problem, we have problems of democratic statehood.

In our Republic, there is no room for attacks on justice, its classification depending on who the subject is; power advocates or no. In our Republic, power does justice, power, as everyone else is subject to justice. No one, never for any price on the law! In our Republic, a Government that violates the Constitution 10 times has to rethink the disturbing institutions he has on his mind before accusing everyone around him. We swear by the Constitution. We act on the Constitutions. We live on this Constitution. As such, it is sacred to the Republic to its dreamers. It's not broken, it's not desecrated. When violated, wrongdoers should be shamed not to boast and praise!

In our Republic, corruption, stealing, and thieves should be morally wrong because they are wicked, not rational, because they are likened to the past. An act of immorality, a thief to the state, is unacceptable, punishable, judicial, not because it is greater or smaller than the preliminary act, but that it is simply immoral! Corruption is such. Corruption will be tried as such. The present, past and future indiscriminately.

I want this Republic!
This Republic I pledge we will do on February 9th!

In our Republic, being sanctioned, under the measures of free Euro-Atlantic perspective, in clashes with each ally, within the region and abroad, is called for collective emergency re-registering, not pride in strength. The crackdown on the head wall, for temporary electoral purposes, has brought to Kosovo not only the thoughtless isolation, not only the lack of recognitions the indicted power considers to be electoral promises, not only the lack of international membership, but also the burdened dialogue position, with autonomy agreements, with double passports on our sovereignty, already recognised by the European Union itself!

In our Republic, the patriotism of the homeland is not part of the dirty political battles. Because there is no Kosovo party. There is no Kosovo of individuals. There is one Kosovo and one single Kosovo, having a dream and a single dream, has one address and one address, has one homeland and one single home.

Our Republic is our only dream!
Today's change is our mission!

We are a free people of great dreams.
And our dream continues to be designed today as an identifying mission of the Democratic League of Kosovo.

In words of the Founding Father of the State of Kosovo, President Historical Dr. Ibrahim Rugova, “Kosovo independent and sovereign state, membership in NATO and the EU and with permanent friendship with the United States of America “, was our mission yesterday, is our mission today, it is our mission tomorrow!

The same LDK!
The same believers. Same mission! New road!

I believe in the state of Kosovo and the tremendous potential this blessed country has! And my vision is not only about a successful Kosovo, but about successful citizens in a well-prone Kosovo!

People who can follow their dreams, live with dignity, live right, build their future right here, in their homes, in their families, in their cities and villages!

I want to see Kosovo not as the last in the region, but as a proud privilege country among others around it, as a state where well-being, the possibility of national unity is part of our everydayity!

Ladies and gentlemen,

Throughout November, I have begun to develop the cycle of large gatherings with citizens, titled “Turneu of Lumir2025”, as part of the election pre-future. I have held large gatherings in Pristina, in the Year, Pec, Prizren, Lipjan, Podujevo, Istog, Suhareka, Gjilan, Ferizaj, Malisheva, Shpe, Kosovo and Obilic Fushe. I've been on this tour, and on the ferry, among our countrymen.

Enthusiasm, support, and appeal for hope and change among our citizens was our true party wealth.

Citizens are tired of empty rhetoric, of unfulfilled promises, and above all tired and tired of a Government that fails to fulfill any of its promises; who separate, disunited, accuses, expresses anger and hatred, but, above all, keeps Kosovars to the constant past, not making the necessary future!

Our citizens, at these large gatherings, in thematic meetings, and in the hundreds of other meetings I have had at home and at families, await our actions. They expect our responsible behavior at this critical moment for them and the country.

This good moment of LDK, the right at large, should be taken as responsibility. We've made a lot of effort, after a long time, to turn the LDK into its source. Among his people. The LDK had started as such, should stand as such and restore it to origin, is my boasting today! Others are processes that are defined in everydayity.

And now that we're in origin, that we've reflected on ourselves, that we've understood the right moment, above all, that we've built the vision of the future through our New Road political programme, we have to act together. Unic. Intrusive, unstoppable.

And today, you and I, my fellow workers, must stand before our citizens to embrace the future that we and they dream about!

Like the largest Albanian historical movement, we have it on duty, we have it on duty, we have it on an inspection mission, to lay not only the hand of joining the people of Kosovo, with those forgotten and left at the mercy of daily fates, but to set the new path forward, to the Republic of Kosovo itself, the state we made!

Because, this road goes without us! This road is up to us!

As the host of the right, as political carriers of the freedom movement, democracy and independence for us, the Democratic League of Kosovo, it is our duty to make the way of development, the path of state consolidation and the path of Euro-Atlantic integration.

Our path is distinct from them!

Because, where they've offered long lines for buying books, we have a whole daily lesson for Kosovo children, the future hope of this country. Warm bars, eight hours in school, kids knowing and fat! Both in Pristina and Kosovo!

Where they've offered clinic repairs and hall painting, we have the construction of the New Hospital in Kosovo. Modern conditions from the new century, health insurance care and digitalization!

Where they've looked at price hikes and the challenge of sustainability, we've offered high wages and assets with dignity. Our first vow is our first decision. One week, 150!

Where they've done street work for four years, we have infrastructure projects that transform this country. The decades - started highway magistrates must be completed in three years.

Where the syntheticly planted parks have repaired two jobs for four years we have built New National Stadium, 6 other regional stadiums, National Palaces, Olympic pools of New Sports Gyms. Another level, another ambition!

Where the National Theatre has closed in four years left artists on strike, we have the construction of Opera and Ballet Theatre “Dr. Ibrahim Rugova”; construction of the Museum of Contemporary Art, construction of the Peace Museum and Resistance, and building the largest cultural complex in the history of Kosovo!

Where the cost of electricity ends, we have plans for Central Gas, for supply stability, for a safe economy with partners! The New Street, has 120 projects, has 5 billion euros in investments, has 5 billion euros in budgets, has 5% economic growth.

Where we feel the fear of Serbia, we, the right-wing Kosovo, free citizens of the Republic of Kosovo, the political descendants of Ibrahim Rugova, have pride. We have defeated Serbia once and for all!

Where we've been given measures, sanctions and isolation, we have the way of integration. The Republic of Kosovo, independent and sovereign state, member of NATO and the European Union with permanent friendship with the US! No point of wait, no point of cut!

To do all this, we need you. We need our internal unity as the necessity of a major national explosion.

That's why we need our best. And these best of us are nominated on the list of 110 candidates for deputies. And this list awaits your approval today.

On this list, I wanted some of our mayors involved. Getting to know them closely, looking closely, standing with them on this four-year trip as the fourth chairman of the Democratic League, I have seen not only their best, but the most human, most devoted to the LDK itself and the Republic of Kosovo itself.

To be clear, they're not in the race because they want to leave their elected mandates. They will continue to serve with just as much devotion and honor. They're in the race because I wanted their help. I've asked for this help, for our political home, for our only country, for the big change the country needs. As such, their presence among us is a push for mobilization, and their race is not all over Kosovo. I asked them to race, stay in their municipalities. They have an area, a city, a purpose. Bring their support to us because we need it so much now.

So, I want to thank from the heart, all four of our leaders, for this whole genetic decision of theirs. You will remember that in the most important moments of the League, you gave your best. Thank you Gazmend Muhhajer, Imri Ahmeti, Sokol Halit of Xhafer Gashi!

I would like to thank and all the branches of the Democratic League of Kosovo, which in domestic consultations through the holding of 33 corresponding mayoral meetings, have unanimously nominated their candidates. This is the true democracy of the Democratic League. It stems from the base, membership from free and democratic decision-making!

In particular, I want to express thanks, that this time, the LDK marks a new story, and that with initiative itself. This time, for the first time, The LDK has 36% of female candidates. We will work to make this percentage in the future even higher; we will engage in the LDK and the political scene to have more women! Strong women, powerful country!

In this election, we're going to have five candidates from the exile. Two from Switzerland, two from Germany and one from Austria.

Dear members of the General Council,

Today, we will vote on the final list of 110 candidates, in alphabetical order. As in the list of any process, the candidate list is sometimes given to us.

I want today, before you and all the citizens of Kosovo, to express great consideration for each of you.

I'm sure each of you deserves to be in your first rankings. But the evental order doesn't determine your weight, your importance, even less your party force. There's a factor and a single factor that does this, they call it a civic vote. It gives us all political luck.

In the last parliamentary elections, while I was ranked in number 11, I had answered the saying “the number doesn't fit me, I do the number myself”.

This is my message to you today.
The number doesn't fit you, the number is yours.

Actually, I want you to take a concrete example. Take Paris as an example, who has sought to rank last. Because he believes in himself, believes that 110 is worth it. So be like Paris.

From Lumir to Paris, we're all the same.
We are the Democratic League of Kosovo.
This is our historic journey!

From tonight we stand together!
From tonight we stand strong!
We come out tonight with full conviction that we are the change for Kosovo!

Head forward, open mind, side by side with each other! And so, so hard, so together, so determined, we are unstoppable!
