News for REL confirmed the Fazliu Stand by the MJPD's Office for Communication.
This decision comes in the wake of the government's actions for refusing to allow visits by the majority of senior representatives of the Government of the Republic of Kosovo, particularly of visits intended to take place in Presevo, Medvedja and Bujanoc, a stance that has been further exacerbated in recent months and contrary to the Brussels Agreement on official visits”, Fazliu said.
From the MPJD said Ristic had applied to stay in Kosovo from 24 December to 26 December.
Earlier in December 25th, MPJD said Serbia has rejected the request to Kosovo Interior Minister Jalal Svecla to pay a two-day visit to municipalities in southern Serbia, inhabited by Albanians.
Svecla was meant to stay in Presevo, Medvedja and Bujanoc on December 23rd and 24th to meet with representatives of the National Council of Valley Albanians.
MPJD said the request was rejected even though the initial procedures for such visits were followed under the Brussels Agreement for official visits.
“As the pretext for rejection are highlighted the positions and actions of Minister Svecla, who, according to the Government of Serbia, are directed against the Serb community in the Republic of Kosovo, as well as against normalisation, peace and stability”, was said in the statement.
In January of this year, Serbia had also rejected the demand that Svecla stay in Presevo, Medvedja and Bujanoc, municipalities also known as Presevo Valley.
MPJD said that in the past two years, Serbia has regularly rejected the visits of senior Kosovo government officials, citing here the last visit that was envisioned to be conducted by Culture Minister Hajrula Ceku on December 19th.
The MPJD also said that even the director of this ministry, Donika Grovalla, was denied participation in the annual expectation of Kosovo's independence, which was organised by the Kosovo Liaison Office in Serbia on 27 February and the visit, according to this institution, was rejected “without any valid reasoning and hours before Mrs. Scrells to reach border point”
Serbia's Government's <x0). They are part of the ongoing provocations, which Serbia makes on a regular basis and aimed at causing conflicts, where terrorist acts in Banjska and Iber Lepenc are the most visible manifestation of these goals on the part of Serbia”, the MPJD said.
