She said this is one of the most important projects to protect the life and dignity of girls and women in Kosovo.
The minister emphasises that low sentences and actions with the prosecution's legal release into procedure are encouraging violators and becoming killers.
“We have consistently said that we will take any action to protect the lives of girls and women in Kosovo. We've taken many actions. This is one of the most important projects to protect the life and dignity of girls and women in Kosovo. Domestic violence is not a private matter, and in this case we expect serious action, especially from the Prosecutor and Court. Low punishments and actions with legalised procedure by the Prosecution encourage the violators so that the state, with these actions, the institutions of justice, offenders are turning them into killers”, Haxhi said.
