U.S. mighty earthquake, tsunami warning issued

The quake struck at 10:44 local time. The Epicentra was west of Ferndal, a small town in the Lost County, located near the border of Oregon, said the American geological Service.
The earth was felt as far as San Francisco, where residents said the quake lasted for seconds.
Authorities in San Francisco have stopped traffic through an underwater channel connecting San Francisco and Auckland.
In warning of tsunami in northern California, the American National Weather Service said:
A series of powerful waves and strong water currents can reach the banks near you. You're in danger. Get out of the coastal waters. Go to places higher and farther off the coast. Do not come near the coast until local officials report the opposite”.
At least 5.3 million people in California are in the area where authorities have warned of tsunami. The American geological service said it expects minor damage from earth's quakes.
