Renowned analyst Halil Matosi has reacted sharply to statements by Minister Albulen Haxhiu, who, in an effort to avoid government corruption scandals, has accused former Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj of linking him with Serbia.
In a post, Matosi names the minister's statements as “against the historical” and “dirty allegations” of an antistate policy.
I just need a political idiot, a very wicked, hateful man in my soul, to tell Ramush Haradinaj one of Serbia! This is counterhistoric and insulting for Kosovo,” has written Matoshi.
He describes Haradinaj as a living hero of the war for freedom, founder of the Kosovo Army, and one who carries to his legacy the sacrifice of a <x0boror with graves. ”
Matoshi added that the era of slander and ignorance will pass, while those making such statements today will leave behind a “black heritage” for future generations.
Minister Haxhiu's statements have prompted sharp reactions to public opinion, with many figures considering it a low political attack on one of the key leaders of Kosovo's history.
