Political issue recogniser Agon Maliqi has referred to a new regional survey of the Regional Co-operation Council (RCC) that puts Kosovo first in the region in terms of citizens' trust in the media.
He published on Facebook data showing that in Kosovo, more than anywhere in the Western Balkans, citizens believe traditional local media are neutral.
“E disconnected this given by the new RCC regional survey. Citizens' trust in the media in the region is very low. But it is worth noting as positive that in Kosovo, however, the percentage of those who believe traditional local media are neutral is higher in the region (42%). Albania has the highest percentage of bias perception (64%). While Serbia, Bosnia and Montenegro are taking the lead in disinformation perceptions (30-32%)”, Maliqi wrote.
