Initiative Chairman Fatmir Limaj has criticised Government for the current situation, while saying there are “scandalous” the amounts paid for electricity imports.
Limaj said they plan to make energy independence, and said the priority will have the renovation and transformation of existing blocks.
“Statistics published in the media for the staggering amounts paid for import of electricity show the true face of this government. For four years, according to published reports, some 560m euros have been spent to buy electricity. This is really outrageous. Therefore, honored citizens, it is far more important to have energy independence. And we will, if you give us your faith on February 9th”.
“Brend three years, we will build the thermo-computer in 500 megawatts and we will once and for all solve the power issue. Our priorities are also the renovation and transformation of existing blocks”.
Limaj said that “this is my pledge and keep me literally”.
