Agriculture Minister Faton Peci, at a hotel in Pristina on Monday, gathered several guests for “to celebrate the important year”. He introduced the meal as Lama dinner, and he was appointed by the Prime Minister's Office when he announced Kurt's participation in the evening.
Minister Peci, since he referred to dinner as the traditional one, he also took the president's role in the speech.
Today's “We marked an ancient and precious tradition; Lama dinner, a moment of reflection and thanks to God and nature for the prosperity of the year we are leaving behind. This ritual has served for centuries as an expression of appreciation for the fruits of the earth and the labor of people who cultivate it. This year, the Lama Dinner is also an honour for our heritage and a reflection on efforts to develop Kosovo's agriculture and food security. We marked it in the most prosperous year for Kosovo, when we secured the engine bread thanks to the government's support, God's prosperity, ministry transparency and the perspiration of the merit farmer”.
He also mentioned Lama's ideator, claiming to be continuing his tradition.
Dr. Ibrahim Rugova, who was one of his priorities, was securing the sister bread for our citizens. Agriculture benefits are one of the strongest evidence of our commitment to Kosovo's secure and stable future. Happy for the Fruits of Our Earth! God bless the people and the Republic of Kosovo.
Kurti, who stood on the same table as his subordinate Faton Peci, in the media communiqué said he attended the Lama Evening Meal, organised by the Ministry of Agriculture.
The Republic of Kosovo's “Prime Minister Albin Kurti attended the traditional Lama Evening Meal, which was organised by the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Rural Development, the day marking the completion of the harvest to celebrate the weekly year”.
ZKM called “special days”, while quoting Kurti that he particularly thanked our “farmers for their indefatigable work in increasing local production”.
In the common area of prosperity, we today convey the message of unity, bread, pride, and heart. The power stemming from love for our country, devotion to protect it and stand before it. I thank the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Rural Development for bringing us together” tonight, Kurti said at dinner.
The same event did not go unnoticed by the presidency.
President Osmani's adviser, Bekim Kupina, re-published a October Ottoman video during the organisation of the Lama Dinner in the SOS village.
“Larca lams 2024 (October 26th), under President Vjosa Osmani's auspices, as well as every other year!”, Kupina wrote along with the video.
