“EU membership is demanding, it requires historical compromises and needs the whole society to succeed. Northern Macedonia must stay focused on realising this target”, Lajcak has written on the “X” platform on Wednesday.
Brussels has assured the Western Balkan countries that their future lies in the EU, but under the condition that they resolve open issues, mainly Kosovo and Serbia. And to give the push, it constantly shares financial resources. The latest is the 6 billion-euro growth package for easing reforms.
