Kurti urges Bosnia and Herzegovina to move swiftly to abolish Kosovo's visa regime

Kurti has said that Kosovo has decided to respect the agreement unilaterally, enabling citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina to enter Kosovo without visas from January 1st 2025, and has asked Bosnia to do so too.
The government has decided yesterday to unilaterally implement the Berlin Process for Freedom of the Movement on Literacy, from January 1st 2025, which will enable visa-free travel to Kosovo for citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina. We believe it will strengthen relations between our two countries. As I mentioned in Sarajevo last week, our friendship has long been hampered by restrictions on freedom of movement. We call on Bosnia and Herzegovina to move quickly with the ratification of the Agreement on their part, providing mutual benefits for both our citizens”, Kurti wrote.
