At QKUK, where it went for the inauguration of renovation work at the Radiciology Clinic, he was asked about his statement that “has never been more media against the government than in this four-year-old of our”.
We're here at Radiology Clinic. We're at Radiology Clinic. Other matters are discussed elsewhere, at other times. Thank you very much”, Kurti said, leaving after he had stopped in front of the microphones to talk about renovations at this clinic.
The Kosovo Journalists' Association has condemned Kurti's language to the media, which it has considered dangerous.
“The AGK strongly condemns this offensive and very dangerous language of Prime Minister Kurti, who ranks Kosovo media alongside Serbia. Such an unacceptable dictionary coming from the head of government directly endangers the safety of journalists and other media employees. It is time for Mr. Kurti to stop using such a language of inciting the hatred of media, which is then reflected and multiplied by many of his voters. In respect of freedom of media and freedom of expression, journalists and media in Kosovo should be allowed to exercise their work to hold the government accountable, without stumbling and intimated by power”, AGK's reaction was said in part.
