Kosovo has signed the contract with Turkish producer “Makine ve Kimya Endustrisi” (MKE) for the ammunition plant. We just signed a contract with the Turkish state manufacturer “Makine ve Kimya Endustrisi” (MKE), with which we are laying the foundation of our defence industry.
The MEC takes over to operate the ammunition plant, which will serve to produce different ammunition calibres according to NATO standards.
This contract includes staff training, regular maintenance, and quality testing and calibration systems. Once production starts, the factory will function as public companies and as a 100% local brand.
