Kosovo customs will complete 2024 with revenues of over 1 billion and 823m euros for the budget of the Republic of Kosovo, exceeding the preliminary year of over 150m euros or 9%, as well as annual projections of 50m euros or 3% more.
Customs has announced that increased revenues have been achieved despite the expansion of customs-free products, such as machinery, raw materials and energy resources, under support schemes for local producers, and a deepening part of the products for which free trade agreements are implemented.
The effect on these categories this year has reached 367m euros, an increase of 10% or 34m euros compared to last year.

Kosovo's “Dogana has prosecuted a total of 536,212 customs statements, an increase of 10.7% compared to 2023. The port of Durres marked a considerable increase, reaching 72,956 statements, or 17% more. 70% of the remittances were prosecuted at state terminals, where these two measures together have contributed to the operational savings of over 20m euros for Kosovo's economy”, the communiqué says.
