US KFOR carries out routine patrols in northern Kosovo

US KFOR soldiers, assigned to the Regional East Command, have conducted “routine patrols mounted and descended through numerous areas of northern Kosovo”, NATO's peacekeeping mission announced. “These efforts are part of KFOR's daily mission to ensure a safe and secure environment for all communities [...]
“These efforts are part of KFOR's daily mission to ensure a safe and secure environment for all communities living in Kosovo”, the report said.
KFOR stresses as usual that it continues to implement its mandate to contribute to a safe and secure environment for all people and communities living in Kosovo and freedom of movement at any time and impartially. KFOR also adds that it works in close co-ordination with Kosovo Police and EULEX, the European Union's Mission for Law Rule in Kosovo.
