He has thanked the people of Kosovo for their friendship and hospitality, adding that it has been an honor for him to have served in the role of American diplomatic representative.
Hovenier has said it has been an honor to contribute to the joint effort between the US and Kosovo to advance and consolidate a sovereign, democratic, multiethnic and prosperous Kosovo.
This December also marks the end of my service as the US ambassador to Kosovo. I want to thank the people of Kosovo for their friendship and hospitality. It has been an honor to serve in this role and contribute to the joint effort between the US and Kosovo to supply and consolidate a sovereign, democratic, multiethnic and prosperous Kosovo”, Havener has said.
Finally, the American ambassador has said he is eager to see what Kosovo's people will achieve in 2025 and beyond.
