Hezbollah carried out its first attack on Israel since the ceasefire

Hezbollah said his attack was the first since the ceasefire was a warning in response to those who said they were continued violations of Israel's ceasefire.
The Israeli Army said two missiles were launched towards Mount Dov, which is a controversial territory that is under Israel's control. The land lies at the border between Lebanon and Syria and Israel.
Hezbollah's attack did not report casualties or material damage.
This Lebanese group said it attacked Israeli military positions in this area as “warning” about what it described as the ongoing “violation of the ceasefire.

The truce, mediated by the United States and France, went into effect last week and envisions fighting cuts for 60 days, aiming to end over 1-year fighting between Israel and Hezbollah.
Israel has since carried out a series of air strikes in Lebanon. The latest attacks, Israel carried out Monday, when a threat killed a man riding on a motorcycle south of Lebanon, and another attack hit a Lebanese army bodozer in the northeastern town of Hermel, leaving a soldier wounded.
Israel said the attacks were in response to violations of the ceasefire by Hezbollah, but gave no details that the breach was in question.
There have been attacks on Lebanon in the preceding days.
The US and France are tasked with monitoring all ceasefire violations. Israel said that, under the ceasefire agreement, it reserves the right to respond if the ceasefire is violated.
Hezbollah has fired missiles north of Israel since the start of the Gaza War in October 2023. This group has said it will stop the attacks only after Israel ends its war in Gaza. Fightings between the parties escalated in October, when Israel launched a ground offensive in Lebanon.
In the past 14 months, Israel has killed almost all of Hezbollah's leadership, including the former leader, Hasan Nasrah, and destroyed the group's military arsenal.
Israel has pledged that it will ensure Iran does not continue to finance and arm the group and has warned Syrian President Bashar al-Assad against facilitating Iranian aid to Hezbollah. /Radio Europe Free
