Justice Minister Albulen Haxhiu has accused former Kosovo prime minister simultaneously of Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (AAK), Ramush Haradinaj, of connecting Serbia.
She at the media conference when asked by reporters for Prime Minister Albin Kurti's statements to the Special Prosecutor, has said why this justice institution is not inviting Haradinaj for his statements that “Prime Minister Kurti is linked to Serbia”.
“Where has Chief Prosecutor Isufaj been when Ramush Haradinaj says Prime Minister Kurti is linked to Serbia? Have Haradinaj been invited to this statement? It is a serious statement, since it is accusing a prime minister. Of course not, because Ramush's ties with Serbia and with terrorists waiting in the office, such as Milan Radojicic”, Haxhi said in front of reporters.
Haxhiu says Kurti's statements to the Special Prosecutor are “correct” and “true”
Haxhiu, described as the correct “” and the true “ “statement by Prime Minister Albin Kurti on Sunday, in which he said that “I dare tell prosecutors I'm coming, see if they dare come to me”.
According to Haxhiu, if Chief Prosecutor Blerim Isufaj's conference has been called for Kurti's statements, this is a pity.
“If the chief prosecutor has called a news conference for Prime Minister Kurti's statements, this is a pity. What the prime minister said last night is accurate and true. How is it that the Government of Kosovo has handed in over 200 corruption files, found in institutions that we lead as Government, and nothing has been done in the process of prosecution, even many of the cases are closed?”, Haxhi said at the media conference.
She has said there are two cases when chief prosecutor Blerim Isufaj has issued no statements, though the same are very important.
The first “, for the name that refers to various relatives for property in Veternik, and second, how it is possible that several years have passed and we have no special prosecutor's notice on the case of the arrest of the criminal, Milan Radojicic”.
At the annual conference held Monday in Pristina, Kosovo Special Prosecutor's Chief Prosecutor, Blerim Isufaj, has said that “everyone is equal before the law” when asked about Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti's statement about the invitation the Special Prosecutor has made to testify to the case of state reserves.
I call on all public institutions to show commitment to rule of law and avoid rhetoric aimed at politicising justice. I'm not here to comment on anyone's statements because I don't care at all”, Isufaj stated.
The executive head has named <x0-director” chief prosecutor Isufaj on Sunday in an interview, praising that he wants to produce a “international news” that Kosovo prime minister is interviewed in a case of corruption. I dare tell you what I'm coming at” / AP/
