Haxhi Shala and Sabit Januzi have pleaded accused of fearing a witness and obstructing the plea agreement with the Special Prosecutor's Office (ZPS).
The defendants are charged with intimidation during criminal procedures and obstructing official persons in carrying out official duties.
In a response to the agreements, specialised prosecutor Kimberly West has said reaching the agreement is “testifying to the force of our investigations regarding issues of intimidation and obstruction of justice”.
“We did so after a careful review that took into account, among other things, the importance of accepting responsibility in this context, the benefits of achieving early completion of the case fairly, and the thoughts of victims”, she said, become known in a media communiqué by the Special. /Time.net
