America's Ambassador to Kosovo, Jeff Hovenier, has spoken after meeting that he had a diplomatic chorus with Prime Minister Albin Kurti.
Hovenier reiterated the position that America condemns this terrible attack, but said it is too early to give consultation as to who stands behind this attack.
“Kurti invited the diplomatic choir to a meeting and conversation about the terrible attack. On behalf of America, I can say we condemn the terrible attack on Kosovo's critical infrastructure. America supports full investigation, giving support to Kosovo authorities for the investigation, the authors must be brought to justice”, Hovenier said.
At this point, the United States is unable to say who is behind the attack. It's early for such a thing and these things require careful investigation. What I can say is that Kosovo institutions have our support. I'm also unable to rule out any group, state or anything. It's too early, we don't know yet”, he said.
