I was delighted to meet today with the leadership of the Kosovo Blind Association, led by Mr. Daut Tishuku. Our governing program, which today was promoted even with Braille writing, contains concrete measures to improve the life of this precious community of our society, ranging from pension increases to adapting public infrastructure to their specific needs.
Kosovo we target is a country where every citizen enjoys full dignity and equal opportunities. For this, we have planned a series of transformative measures, including the subsidisation of blind entrepreneurs, the integration of Braille writing in all public spaces, the creation of a fund dedicated to printing books, as well as the opening of schools specialised in Pristina, Ferizaj and Prizren.
Our commitment to a comprehensive Kosovo is steadfast. With the implementation of these measures, we will ensure that our blind citizens have full access to education, employment, culture and all spheres of public life. Together we will make Kosovo a place where no one is left behind.
