He has suggested that these measures will be a stain on Kosovo's international reputation.
In his account in “Facebook”, Hamiti wrote that on February 9, 2025 citizens are able to choose the Government that removes Kosovo from the list of sanctioned countries.
Kosovo's “Republic is suffering EU sanctions now 18 months, from June 2023. Hundreds of millions of euros lost so far for projects that, if realised, would improve the lives of Kosovo citizens. So it would probably be until the end of the mandate of this irresponsible Self-Determination Government. On February 9th, 2025 citizens are able to choose the Government, which removes Kosovo from the list of sanctioned countries, a stain on our country's international reputation, and turns Kosovo on the path to Euro-Atlantic integrations, which are stuck because of the current ruling cast”, Hamiti wrote.
