Mellon made the announcement in a speech at the annual youth festival of her party “Brows of Italy” in Rome. Over 300 guests attended, including representatives of Italy's opposition parties and Lebanon Prime Minister Najib Mikati.
The week-long festival has turned into a platform to celebrate Melon's government, which -- two years after taking office -- is being located as one of the most stable in the country's recent history.
Mellon said that “political stability” is “that makes Italy more reliable at the national and international level”. And she voiced confidence that the government will remain in office for the entire mandate.
She also said her party will now support Poland's Matthews Morawiecki as the next leader of the ECR group.
