France's Prime Minister, Michel Barnier, has collapsed from office after left and right parties joined the vote to support the no-confidence motion.
This is the first time a French government has been cast into a no-confidence vote since 1962.
MPs voted in the majority in support of the motion against Barnier by 331 votes, only three months after he received the mandate from President Emmanuel Macron.
MPs did not have the opportunity to vote against, but only for and abstained.
