According to him, one of the most important political conditions is for Kosovo to implement the Brussels Agreement and the Ohrid annex, reached with Serbia in 2023.
“I think some EU members are not fully convinced that at the moment it is appropriate. Here I think we go back to the question of [anxi's] application. Ohrid or the February 27th agreement to convince all member states that it is the right moment. We support that Kosovo eventually becomes an EU member, as do other countries in the region. We clearly see the way towards European integration, we want certain conditions met, one of the most important conditions is this political condition that Kosovo is fully committed to dialogue and in implementing long-standing dialogue agreements. On other issues like readiness for domestic reforms, the readiness of the economy, the readiness of institutions, we see a progress made by the Kosovo government”, he has said.
