The European Union will send a mission for monitoring and central elections on February 9th.
The news has revealed the EU Diplomatic Service.
Senior representative, Kaya Kallas, has appointed Natalie Loiseau as chief observer.
The “Election Observation Missions in Kosovo, at the request of its authorities, will demonstrate the EU's firm support for Kosovo in its efforts to further strengthen its democratic governance. The mission's presence on the ground aims to contribute to a comprehensive, reliable and transparent election process, allowing Kosovo voters to clearly express their” elections, the report said.
Loisau said she feels honored to submit this process and is eager to engage in the task.
“I am honoured to serve as the chief editor of the EU mission to monitor the 2025 elections in Kosovo. The upcoming parliamentary elections will be the first to be held under a new election law, which has taken into account our earlier recommendations. I look forward to engaging with authorities, political parties, candidates, civil society and other interested electoral parties in Kosovo”
