In Stubble of the Year, among friends and fighters, I felt a special pride in the past, but also in the future of Kosovo.

This country, which has given so much to the freedom and independence of the homeland, is an example of the strength, resistance and sacrifice of past generations.
Meeting fellow KLA fighters is a great honor, once the ideal for freedom, was all that led us through war, effort, and sacrifice. Today, the ideal for a secure Kosovo and a Euro-Atlantic future unites us.
This commitment is not only of the KLA's fellow fighters, but of any Kosovo citizen who believes in a bright future.
