This to assess the course of the December 4th protest, in which about 2 thousand union leaders from the nests to the country's universities.
In a media report, it is said this meeting was held to discuss future union steps, as well as to determine actions to be taken depending on the current situation and reactions of state institutions.
This union stresses that if the situation deteriorates and there is no response from state authorities, the government, and especially Minister Nagavci, will bear responsibility for any consequences that could result from a possible strike and from the failure to meet the demands of education workers.
“The SBASK congratulates leaders and union leaders for mass participation in protest and their dignified stance, but he did issue reasonable criticism of Minister Nagavci, who neither after this union action reflected nor was the decision made to send even a letter with the request for meeting with SBK representatives and to appoint MANTI's representatives to the joint commission to start negotiating for the new collective contract of education<1).
