Ends deadline, 28 political subjects with 1,280 candidates apply for certificate of voter turnout

Central Election Commission spokesman Valmir Elezi has indicated that periods for application of political subjects for certificate and handing over the candidate list for MPs to participate in the Kosovo Republic Assembly Elections, which will be held on February 9th 2025.

Elez has said that during this period (September 1st), December 11th 2024, 23:59) have applied: 28 political subjects, of them: 20 political parties; 5 coalitions; 2 civic initiatives and 1 independent candidate.

The total number of candidates for MPs, representing these political subjects, is 1,280 candidates.

Political parties:

1. Movement V (LVV), 110 candidates;

2. Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK), 110 candidates;

3. Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK), 110 candidates;

4. Srpska List, 48 Candidates

5. Srpski Narodni Pokret, 12 candidates;

6. Word, 22 candidates;

7. Egyptian Libreral Party (PLE), 60 candidates;

8. Nova Democraticska Stranka (NDS), 46 candidates;

9. New Democratic Initiative of Kosovo (IRDK), 41 candidates;

10. Social Democratska Unija (SDU), 40 candidates;

11. Democratic Kosovo Türrk Partisi (KDTP), 25 candidates;

Twelve. Yenilikci Türrk Hareket Partisi (YTHP), 25 candidates;

13. Jednovna Goranka Party (JGP); 29 candidates;

14. Ashkalije's Party for Integration (PAI); 35 candidates;

15. Republika Srpska (SD), 13 candidates; 1

17. Za Slobodu Pravdu of Opstanak (SPO), 12 candidates;

18. Albanian National Democratic Ball Party (PBKDSH), 95 candidates;

Nineteen. The United Roma Party of Kosovo (PREBK), 56 candidates;

21. AAK Alliance for the Future of Kosovo, Social Democrat Initiative Initiative, Conservative List, Intellectual Forum HINA 30, 110 candidates;

24. Koalicija Vacat, 48 candidates.

25. Citizen Initiative: 1. Narodna Pravda, 10 candidates;

26. Opre Roma Kosova, 12 candidates.

27. Independent candidate: 1. Fatmir Bytyqi

All applications will be considered by the Office for Registering Political Partys and Certificates, which will submit to the CEC the relevant recommendations for each of them.

In order to apply 30 of Law No. 08/L-228 for the General Elections, the Central Election Commission will require competent institutions to make the verifications needed for the adaptability or capacity of candidates to certified for participation in the election.
