AAK Headship member and one of the main KLA war protagonists, Daut Haradinaj, has congratulated the 33rd anniversary of Vetran Day.
In his congratulations, Haradinaj has remembered the basic sacrifice of martyrs and all those who lost body members during the freedom struggle. He has also voiced hope that next year will bring successes and see the return of fellow fighters who are being tried unjustly by the Special Court.
“fellow fighters 33 years ago, Serbian forces attacked the Jashar family. From then on, thousands of warriors joined the cause of freedom. During this journey, many of them were put to death and lost many body members.
Today we have our country and our freedom. So let me wish you a 33rd anniversary of Vetran Day, hoping that next year will be a success and await our fellow fighters, who today are being unjustly tried by the Special Court.
If we are united and unique, we will always be victorious,” has highlighted Haradinaj in his message.
