The United States of America declared SPAK leader Altin Dumann a champion of anticorruption.
It was Secretary Antony Blinken who shared the awards for 10 champions worldwide on the very international day of corruption. He said Duman is running a new facility, while hitting senior politicians and criminal groups.
“Altin Damani, from Albania, heads a new agency (SPAK). It has hit senior politicians, but also important criminal groups, doing extraordinary work and one of the most reliable people and the most reliable institution in Albania”.
Secretary Blinken also delivered a message for fighting corruption, saying the system <x0non grata” will continue for all who challenge justice.
So we've established the non grata system, for people who are problematic, for those who have done corruption. And the work these people have done is remarkable that it has produced extraordinary results because they have changed the perception”.
Since 2021, the US State Department has praised 43 people for their efforts to support democracy and promote accountability in their countries. /tch
