The chief executive head of Kosovo's System Operator, Transition and Electricity Market (KOSTT), Eventar Zeqiri, has not guaranteed that the New Year will be passed by electricity.
On the Kix Kosova show in Klan Kosova, he said he does not know exactly what the situation will be like, but said they have appealed to citizens to save electricity in this period.
“I don't know exactly what the situation will be, but we have made appeals and prayers to citizens to become as much of a rationalisation of electricity, at least this period and the first days of January, when consumption is historically higher. This year it is higher than the years before”, Zeqiri said.
Among other things, he said electricity production is according to plans, but added that there is a 30-40 per cent increase in consumption.
