I confirm. FBI investigating attack on Iber-Lepenc

US Ambassador to Kosovo Jeff Hovenier has shown exclusively in “Rubicon” that the terrorist attack on Iber-Lepenci Canal is being investigated by the FBI.

He said the United States has brought support to the FBI, to the event, and that investigations into it are continuing indefinitely.

“We have offered and brought the support of the FBI here in Kosovo now to work directly and full time with Kosovo law enforcement bodies to help identify the responsible and ensure that this investigation is reliable, full and leads to appropriate conclusions”.

“Never a good idea for ambassadors to talk about law enforcement investigations and investigations are continuing indefinitely. So all I can say about data or suggestions or where this is going is that the U.S. government is still unable to say we've reached conclusions or we know who's responsible for this” attack, he said.

Hovenier further said that after the truth is discovered, they will co-operate with the authorities in Kosovo for criminals to be placed in charge, Klankosova.tv.

When we manage to draw conclusions, we will work closely with the Kosovo authorities that criminals responsible for this attack give responsibility”, the US ambassador said.
