Chinese President: Commercial War With the United States No Victor

Xi made these statements shortly before the inauguration of US President-elect Donald Trump in January.

Trump, former American president, has advanced the trade struggle with China during the first term at the White House, and has accused this state of stealing intellectual property and other <x0-> unfair” practices.

He has pledged to impose even higher rates on China in the second term, as Beijing continues to face slow economic recovery after the coronary pandemic.

“Kina is willing to continue dialogue with the American Government, enhance co-operation, manage differences and promote relations in China- The US in stable, healthy and sustainable direction” has said Xi.

Beijing aims to mark annual growth of 5 per cent this year, despite falling domestic consumption and high unemployment. /REL
