Hundreds of euros have been heating bills for several Pristina citizens during the months of October and November. This happened after the change in the way of luck this year from the public company Termokos. Some complainers suspect that consumption is not properly done, writes Radio Free Europe.
On his way home from work one afternoon in the early weeks of December, Mehrem Hykoli faced a crowd of neighbors who remained concerned at the entrance to the building.
The “The officers were worried, with Termoco bills in hand. Most were over 200 euros”, Hykoli relates.
The neighborhood of the Sun Coast says that on that day it was shocked to see its heating bill for 30 days in November in many of the 300 euros.
Hycol lives alone in an apartment of some 50 square feet [50 sq m]. She says that her past years had accepted bills of 35 to 37 euros a month from the city's heater.
I can't stand the heat. In the bedroom, it doesn't turn on radiators. I only light them in the living room, kitchen and bathroom. I work, until 4 p.m. I'm not [in the apartment]”, says Hykoli, who doesn't understand how this spending was billed.
