In addition to the victims, police said four people have remained seriously injured.
According to reports, three people have been sent to the Stockmarknes Hospital with rescue helicopters, while other passengers have been sent to a nearby school.
Everyone has already been taken out of the vehicle, according to local media.
Firefighters, ambulances and police teams have also been working on the scene.
Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Stére called the accident “a very serious situation” and said his thoughts are with all the touch.
