Bosnian Security Minister Nenad Nessic was arrested today along with six others on organised crime charges, including money laundering, abuse of office and bribery.
Bosnia's Republika Srpska State Prosecutor and Interior Ministry (RS) have investigated alleged corruption at the public company Roads of RS, where Nessic was the general manager from 2016-2020.
Republika Srpska President Milorad Dodik, who is on trial at the Bosnian state court for rejecting international envoy's peace envoy Christian Schmidt's decisions, accused the prosecutor's office of a campaign of persecution against Serbian government officials.
However, Nenad Nessic also had trouble with the state of Kosovo. He used the Pec Patriarchate for nationalist appeals against the state of Kosovo.
