Bishop George wishes Christmas: We pray that God will fill us with peace, joy, and strength

He also said it was the 25th Christmass we are celebrating in freedom and said that this year, as if never else, in all city squares and parish courts, believers and our fellow citizens are celebrating, “are enjoying and enjoying each other”.

However, it should not be forgotten that we baptized, celebrate the Jewish Mishnah, the coming of God in the history of the world and in the life of men, as St. John testified in his Gospel: “The Word became human and inhabited among us. We saw his glory, that glory from the Father belongs to the only gracious and true Son.” (Gen 1, 14). We have experienced various kinds of sufferings, injustice, and disbelief, both from strangers and from our own. However, we remained strong and invincible singing: “Praise God in the highest heaven and peace on earth to the people he loves!” (Lk 2, 14). With the spirit of this joyful song, we have expressed our faith in God and have experienced the manifestation of God's love in us”.

The Word of Christ is our hope that keeps us strong and happy in the face of world difficulties, strengthens us in our sufferings, and gives meaning to the sacrifices we make daily, while His Holy Spirit teaches us to love, believe, and hope. It is our inspiration that makes us loyal to the Word. Our spiritual strength and the joy of hope that teaches us to hope forever”.

With Christ, God has carried out his project for our salvation, has humbly manifested his love in us, and has manifested his mercy upon us. By Christ hath he preached the Good News of salvation: he hath called us to return, and reconciliation with the Lord, and with them that have received His Father, he hath made them daughters for ever. In Christ he has manifested all His greatness and glory, raising him from the dead. With his resurrection, we have all become part of Divine Glory. Therefore, while we still migrate on earth, we live divinely by cultivating and using the fruits of the soul, which are: “love, joy, peace, interest, kindness, goodness, loyalty, mildness, moderation.” (Gal 5,22-23)”, says his message.

Then they cannot be bought with material wealth, preserved with religious rites, or protected by legal means.
