Bosnia and Herzegovina Defence Minister Zukan Helez has reacted to student protests being held for several days in Serbia.
He said students seek a regular system, a legal state, a free government... largely everything that is normal, which, he says, has not been in Serbia in recent decades.
“In neighbouring Serbia for several days, student protests are under way, which have begun after the collapse of the shield at the Novi Sad railway station, where 15 people lost their lives. Students at the start of the protests demanded responsibility for the accident, the publication of all documentation for the reconstruction of the railway station in Novi Sad”.
The response of Vuciki's regime was to send bandits to students, physically attack, insult and thus try to suppress these protests from inside. Media under the control of Allexander Vuciqi and almost all are under his control, call students traitors and mercenaries. It is not the first time that the Vuciki regime attempts to contain and suppress protests in this way”.
“Students now seek a fair system, legal state, free society, responsible governance and the fight against corruption. All that is normal and has not been in Serbia in recent decades”, the Bosnian minister said in a Facebook post published yesterday, Klankosova reported.
In the letter Helez has published, it is said that Serbia today is simply a Russian province, filled with hatred of neighbours.
He also speaks of the Serbian myth about Kosovo, making it clear to Serbs that the country is an independent state.
Today's “Serbia is nothing but a Russian province, filled with neo-ethnic Nazism, hatred for Albanians, Bosniaks, Croats, other and different European values, freedom and equality. Vuciqi's regime still preserves Kosovo's myth as part of Serbia, even though Kosovo is an independent state, internationally recognised by more than 100 world states”, Helez said.
Furthermore, the minister had a question for Vuciki's “manipulated” in relation to Kosovo. “What do the manipulated Vuciki supporters think when they see Kosovo playing an international match, with what are they comforted to do, what do they deceive themselves”?
Helez says Vuciqi is tasked with “handing over Kosovo”. According to him, “no one could do it any more openly than a nationalist and radical like Allexander Vuciq”.
The “seems to be the end of his role and that Russia will welcome him with open arms as the other dictators of the white world”, the Bosnian minister said.
The deputy chairman of the Council of Ministers in BiH also said that the student force should not deal with doubts from anyone, citing that it was students “ata that ended the rule of another nationalist, Slobodan Milosevic”.
The Bosnian minister wants Serbia to be a good neighbour of his country and stressed that the interest of all citizens in Bosnia and Herzegovina is a democratic and free Serbia.
For this reason, I give full support to students in Serbia in their efforts to make Serbia a legal state and all its citizens equal and free”.
“If you do not support someone's fight for justice, freedom and democracy and do not cultivate such values, ask yourself who you are supporting and on whose side you are, because history records everything and does not forgive anyone”, wrote Bosnian Minister Zukan Helez.
