He stopped at the joint meeting of the two Kosovo-Albania parliaments, to be held tomorrow.
Berisha says the Albanian parliament cannot go to meetings without doing some things ahead.
First, according to him, is the adoption of the resolution condemning the Serbian genocide in Kosovo. Second, Berisha says Prime Minister Edi Rama should apologise because he was the first to impose sanctions on Kosovo.
“S first, with the date 20, the two parliaments gather in Kosovo. This parliament cannot go to a joint meeting at a time when it has rejected the resolution on condemning the Serb genocide in Kosovo, so we will urgently demand that this resolution be voted before parliament goes to joint session so that it is not a national hypocrisy, but an acceptable national act. Second, to apologise because Edi Rama was the first to impose sanctions on the Republic of Kosovo. This parliament must pass a national public apology resolution for Albania's shameful anti-national act as no neighbouring country other than Albania to Kosovo”, Berisha said.
But Berisha stressed that his demands do not mean that the Democrats will not be present tomorrow at the joint meeting.
The “will go for sure, but on behalf of the DP I request parliament to address these issues before it can reach”, Berisha said. /tvclean
