Presequently, the chairman of the Mappie Veldt-Foglia Court, asked him if she repented of the actions she took, reports “Justice bet”.
Mr. Bahtari, I have a question but you don't have to answer. Are you repentant? Do you regret doing what you have done? Do you think what you did was wrong and it wasn't a good thing?
“Yes, yes”, Bahhitari responded.
And the judge said it again:
Once again, Bahhitari claimed to have repented, but ever since he was asked why he felt that what he did was wrong, he did not answer.
Prior to that, Bahtari's lawyer, Felicity Gery, said her defender made it very clear that she doesn't want to speak in the courtroom for anything, especially this part.
On the other hand, Sabit Januzi's defense, lawyer Jonathan Elystan-Rees, said decisions on pleas must be made before the break.
I request from the court to issue a decision to approve plea agreements and set penalties in line with those agreements, taking into account the time spent in custody. I would have asked for this decision to come before the break. This issue of implementation of damage is a fully divided issue, and I think the decision on guilty deals should be taken regardless of the issue of damages”, Rees said.
Similar stances included the protection of Haxhi Shala, Toby Cadman, who said the decision should be taken as soon as possible.
The session is expected to continue with administrative issues after a break, where Sabit Januzi and Ismet Bahtiari were allowed to refuse.
