But they have called for caution, especially in gifts packaged with food products sold on the eve of the holidays.
AUV spokesman Lamir Thaci has cautioned that consumers who buy such gifts control the products that are inside them, as the AUV does not have this authorization.
And the counter needs to be careful about it is the question of gifts sold in different supermarkets, so there's a wide range of products inside of them and there's a kind of risk here because this is packaged and we can control certain units but not all of them, and there's somebody here that can misuse and introduce products that don't respond to legal conditions”.
I appeal to consumers that in gifts of food products they buy for their children or relatives, they always have to raise vigilance so that, after opening, they can control all units regarding dates, declarations and all the notes they need to make constitute a product, because they are not inspected by inspectors. The prevention of gift sales is not in our authority”, Thaci said on a show in “Radio Pristina”.
