Serbia has sent a verbal note and a non-paper to the Council of Europe over the attack on the facility of the Iber-Lepenci water channel. In this letter, the Serbian state writes that it is distanced without any qualms from any involvement in the November 29th attack and claims that Kosovo's accusations pointing to the finger of responsibility towards official Belgrade are unfounded and that evidence is not based.

According to this letter Serbia has sent to the Council of Europe, where it explains its position, such statements can only lead to unnecessary passage of the situation in the region, and have provided several points.

At the first point in the document, Serbia calls for a full and transparent investigation into such an act of sabotage.

In addition to helping the investigation, the Serbian state in this letter to the Council of Europe has expressed readiness to provide technical and logistical support to address the consequences of the attack, including support for the canal reconstruction and assistance in the supply of electricity to infected areas, Express writes.

Also in this letter Serbia requires the parties to refrain from early impeachment and instead focus on preventing further transitions to the region.

At the fourth point of this non-paper, Serbia also expresses readiness to hold an emergency nature meeting within the Brussels Dialogue, where the central topic would be the November 29th terrorist attack on the facility of Iber-Lepenci Canal.

Also, the Serbian state in this letter has demanded that this case not be used to increase the presence of the Kosovo Security Force in the north of the Republic of Kosovo.

In the end, Serbia says this attack has occurred at a very sensitive time and that for the same time a joint, transparent and continuous investigation with all important partners is needed to avoid any negative consequences that could hinder European integration and dialogue on normalisation of reports.

The institutions of the Republic of Kosovo have made Serbia responsible for the attack. Prime Minister Albin Kurti has said the attack is also a kinetic war and the copying of Russia's methods in the fight against Ukraine.

KFOR has declared it important to prove the facts and has added presence in Zubin Potok to the site of the attack.

US Ambassador Jeff Havenier, after meeting with Prime Minister Albin Kurti, has declared it too early to talk about who is responsible for the November 29th attack.

The European Union has strongly condemned the attack and termed it a terrorist attack. The new EU chief, Kaya Kallas, after meetings she has had in Brussels today with Kurti and Vucinqi, has demanded that the perpetrators of the attack be brought to justice.
