The photograph of the suspect identified as Taleb al-Abdulmohsen was taken from the records of a US-based activist group, RAIR Foundation USA. The suspect has not yet been officially identified by authorities, but German media already call him “Taleb A”.
RAIR Foundation USA conducted an interview with al-Abdulmohsen on 12 December. In a statement published by Reuters, the foundation said al-Abdulmohsen had been introduced as someone helping former Muslim refugees to escape persecution from Saudi Arabia.
