Albanian Mandarins are not accepted by several EU countries: High levels of pesticides

The European food security system has raised alarms against cargo with Mandarin coming from Albania.
Over the past few weeks, Croatia, the Czech Republic, Italy and Lithuania -- countries that have imported fruit from our country -- have refused to the border after testing Albanian production.
Mandarins result in remains of some dangerous substances for human health and banned for EU trading. Concretically, high waste of pesticides chlorpyrifos and phosmet, which as side effects have an impact on brain development in children, nervous system disorders and endocrine disorders, and increased risk for heart disease and cancer.
Despite the confirmation confirmed by the European Commission was made in November 29th and December 11th of this year, the Agriculture Ministry and food control institutions in the country do not have an official security announcement or withdrawal from the market of these products.
The remains of pesticides result from tests 3 to 12 times higher than European regulations allow, changed since September last year.
