The Kosovo Journalists' Association strongly condemns the murder threat to journalist Berat Buzhala. Once, this association has also reacted to Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti, who has asked him to stop lynching towards journalists and media in Kosovo.
Through a reaction, the AGK is alarmed at the murder threat committed against journalist and founder of “Nationalies”.
The reaction comes after Buzhala published a message that came to her on Facebook from a citizen who wrote down the Albanian “Besen. I'm giving you that she killed you and wants you as you do that if you knew the numbered days of the ki, not just drink me, but you've got TAfa from the Kosovar”
This is a very serious threat that endangers the security of Buzhala and the media where it works, and the AGK invites the Kosovo Police to seriously and urgently review the case and hold the person responsible for”, writes in response.
In addition, the AGK sees with great concern the continued spread of hate speech and consultation to journalists, mostly coming from government officials and the ruling party.
“AGK invites Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti to stop lynching towards journalists and media in Kosovo, and to do the same to other officials of his party”.
